All Creatures Veterinary Service is looking to add a full-time veterinary technician. We are a privately owned veterinary practice that has family friendly hours. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team. NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS or NIGHTS!

Summary of Job Duties
Veterinary technicians must have a broad knowledge of animal science, terminology, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology. They must be able to successfully restrain animals, complete clinical laboratory tests, use multiple radiology techniques, administer, and monitor animals under anesthesia, assist in surgery, use proper medical terminology when speaking and writing, and perform dental procedures.
Technicians must also maintain confidentiality, complete medical record management tasks, exam-room, nursing-care, client-interaction, and inventory management tasks as assigned. Follow established procedures and operate within hospital policy and OSHA standards. Other duties required, but not limited to, consist of providing patients with compassionate nursing care as well as maintaining a compassionate and professional environment for all clients and co-workers.
Duties Include:
- Assisting Veterinarians with exams, drop off appointments, and surgeries.
- Dispensing medications, assisting with diagnostic procedures, medical treatments, running anesthesia, and surgery preparations.
- Performing venipuncture, placing intra-venous catheters.
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
- Ability to interpret cytologys and work with basic in-house laboratory machines
- Perform nail trims, collecting samples (blood, urine, fecal)
- Preparing samples for laboratory testing

Hours Of Operation
Monday-Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday 8:30am-12:30pm

Salary Range: $15.00-$20.00+ based on experience
